From the moment guests landed in Athens, every detail was seamlessly managed, from luxury transfers to check-in at Grande Bretagne. In the afternoon, a private guided tour at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) offered a modern cultural lens, setting the tone for the days ahead. As the sun set, guests were welcomed to a rooftop dinner with 360° views of Athens, featuring Greek live music and the Parthenon glowing in the background, a first taste of what was to come.
Without prior notice, guests were escorted early in the morning to the airport for a surprise destination reveal: Santorini! The island unfolded through a carefully designed route: exclusive wine tasting, a private archaeological tour of Akrotiri, and a fresh seafood lunch by the water. In the afternoon, guests experienced a private boat tour and swim, discovering the quieter side of the Santorini. Just as the day seemed complete, they boarded the return flight only to be met by a live strolling trio onboard, a final surprise that made the sky itself part of the experience!
A morning visit to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the National Archaeological Museum grounded the experience in the depth of Greek history. This was followed by an exclusive discussion with Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis at Athens Capital, offering a window into modern Greece. The farewell dinner took place at Domus, on the Athenian Riviera, where elegant cuisine met sea breeze. For those still energised, the night ended in true Athenian fashion: a late-night visit to the bouzoukia.
