In contrast to regular boardroom conferences, we meticulously designed an experiential adventure to challenge team dynamics and simulate the rigors of a modern business landscape. The whole endeavor was invented with a daring premise: taking the leaders on a physical journey from the fundamentals of survival to premium coastal decadence.
The expedition had to be geographically fluid through extreme landscapes in order to force the team to adjust to completely new surroundings. The executive team demonstrated fluidity in their business’ daily operations by switching up the tiers of lodging: from a night spent at a bespoke engineered campsite at Lake Doxa, to the historic Amphitryon Palace in Nafplio and the quaint Nisia in Spetses, to the Margi Hotel, an enclave of luxury on the Athenian Riviera.
The expedition began with a hands-on driving excursion, challenging the executives to traverse arduous off-road lands to reach the Peloponnese, with stops at the Corinth Canal. A night trek through thick forests with absolutely no visibility tested the team’s trust abilities in preparation for a rustic open-air dinner. The expedition shifted to leadership legacy, traveling through Arcadia to Nafplio for a workshop at the location of the First Greek Parliament, tying together past decision making to present-day corporate maneuvering. The team also toured the ancient theater of Epidaurus, taking advantage of its acoustics for a fun exercise in organizational communication.
The last stage brought an intricate classiness to the itinerary. After traveling by traditional horse carriages in Spetses, the team sailed the Saronic Gulf to Hydra on a private yacht, with a bespoke corporate session at Omilos restaurant on the harbor. Finally the team sailed to the Athenian Riviera for a farewell dinner at Krabo seaside restaurant, where the team digested on the strategic learnings of the past week.
Our team delivered this project by intertwining complex corporate logistics with destination story-telling. Through management of the off-road fleet, the production of the custom wilderness camp, the private legacy tours, setup of executive meetings, and delivery of meaningful gifting, we successfully delivered a thought-leading expedition end-to-end.
